Schoology Log-in Information

We are excited that your first day of the school year is almost here! We can’t wait for you to get started learning. Read below for important information about how you will access your courses and login for attendance.

Digital tool for ALL Students - Schoology (both in-person and Virtual Academy)

ALL students whether in-person or Virtual Academy will have a Schoology account. Schoology is a Learning Management System (LMS) where students can access their courses and receive digital support from their teachers. It includes some great functions such as the ability to upload assignments and monitor student progress. It will also enable SAISD to track your student’s attendance when they are not in the school classroom.

Elementary/Middle School - Virtual Academy elementary and middle school students will need to access Schoology accounts for each day of the first week of school no later than 9:30am. Your teachers will not post any information in Schoology until the first day.

High School - All high students will need to access Schoology accounts for each day of the first week of school no later than 9:30am. This is essential since our in-person instruction students are not on campus until September 2nd. Your courses will not be available in Schoology until the first day.

To access your Schoology account, follow these simple steps:

1. Open a web browser (example: Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari) on your device and go to the following web address: https://schoology.saisd.org 
   • For some SAISD devices, it may auto log you into Schoology using the credentials you used to log into the device. If it doesn’t, continue on to step #2-3. If it does, skip to step #3.
2. When prompted for a School name, type “sanangelo” and then select San Angelo ISD from the results
3. Log into Schoology using this information:
   •  Username/Login: your student ID @students.saisd.org will be your username (example: 12345@students.saisd.org if your student ID was 12345)
   • Password: Your student’s date of birth in the format of MMDDYYYY will be your password (example: if your birthday is July 6, 2002 then the password would be: 07062002). After initial set up, high school students may go in and reset their passwords.

SAISD Virtual Academy

In addition to your Schoology account you set up above, our Virtual Academy students will have access to Edgenuity, the virtual platform that will house lessons with assignments and instructional modules. Virtual Academy students will receive login information on how to access Edgenuity through your Schoology account. You will also have support from your SAISD Virtual Academy digital support teacher.
