Central High School Celebrates Homecoming with Disney-Themed Spirit Week, Parade and Community Pep Rally

Last week, the Central High School Bobcats celebrated Homecoming Week under this year’s theme, “Where a Bobcat’s Dreams Come True,” leading up to the big game against Midland Legacy on Friday, October 10, at San Angelo Stadium.

Throughout the week, students and staff showed their school spirit with building and door decorating contests and Disney-inspired dress-up days, including:

  • Marvel Monday – Superhero Day
  • Sleeping Beauty Bash – PJ Day
  • Scream Team Wednesday – Jersey Day
  • Spirit Thursday – Wear your HOCO gear with your favorite Mickey Mouse ears!

Festivities continued Thursday evening with a parade featuring Central students and staff along with elementary and middle schools in the CHS feeder pattern — all decked out in Disney-themed attire — followed by a community pep rally at San Angelo Stadium.

The pep rally showcased performances by the Mighty Bobcat Band, cheerleaders, and Tex-Anns  and included the introduction of the 2025 Homecoming Court: Dukes:  Brady Billingsley; Sutton Cole; Cooper Collier; Drew Dotson; Talmadge “TK” Taylor; and Mason Van Sickle. Duchesses: Jaylee Brinlee; Adelyn Cardenas; Addison Gentry; Adison Gonzales; Maddie Rios; and Briana Trevino.

During the pep rally, Mason Van Sickle was crowned Central High School’s 2025 Homecoming King, and Addison Gentry was crowned 2025 Homecoming Queen before the game on Friday night.

San Angelo ISD congratulates our Central Bobcats on a spirited and memorable Homecoming Week — Sic ’em, Cats!
