Good morning Central, today Grace and Grub will be serving their last free lunch of the semester! It will be tator-tot casserole. Come by and get your lunch!

Seniors, don’t forget elementary luncheons are this Friday. You should have received an invite from your elementary school, don’t forget to RSVP if requested. Seniors will be released after 4th period on Friday.

Students, if you would like to purchase a yearbook, we will sell the extras that we have until the end of the day on Friday.  They are $75 and we can only take cash or check.  Please see Mrs. Ogee in Schweitzer 112 if you would like to purchase a yearbook.  After Friday, no more copies will be available.

CHS— it’s time to turn in your library books.  Check your school email account for a list of books you have checked out.  Please turn them in to the library. SENIORS, get your books in as soon as possible, so your records can be clear to pick up your cap and gown.  Sophomores and juniors, you need to have a clear record for next fall.  Thank you for turning your books in!

Students, if you know you will need to attend summer school to recover credits you may pick up a registration form in the counseling center or from most teachers who teach a core subject.  Registration will take place on Tuesday, June 1st from 1:00-4:00 pm in Tucker Hall, on Main Campus the two-story building that faces Loop 306.  There will be two summer school sessions, Session 1 is Credit Recovery and EOC Prep from June 7-24 and Session 2 is Credit Recovery only from July 12-29, Monday -Thursdays 8:00 and until noon.  EOC/STAAR testing is June 21-24. All Summer school sessions will be in Tucker Hall on Main Campus.

Attention ALL CHS students! The Fellowship of Christian Athletes still has leadership positions open for the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking for three leadership teammates as well as a Social Media team lead and Publicity team lead. Leaders can be from both campuses but team leads must be on Main. Stop by Coach Lara’s or Mrs. Barton’s room at Oakes or Ms. Kagle’s or Mrs. Willis’ room at Main to apply today! This is a great opportunity to spread joy for Jesus on campus… as well as pad your resume!

Listen up……….it’s time to take care of end of year stuff:  pay for fines/fees, turn in your textbooks and any devices that you no longer need.  You may get on Home Access to check the status of your fines/fees.  Go to the Student Service Center to take care of this, they accept cash or checks only.  Please make sure this is done before finals start.

Congratulations to the company of Central’s UIL JV One Act Play, Any Body for Tea, for an excellent performance during our contest in Midland Saturday, May 15. Alexis Crawford was named to the All Star Crew for her role as lights technician; Asia Tate was named to the honorable mention All Star Cast for her role as Miss Nettie; and Aiden Cooper was named to the honorable mention All Star Cast for his role as Dennis O’Finn. We will have our final public performances this Thursday and Friday evenings at 6pm in the Sarah Bernhardt Theatre.
