Today Central will be serving mini corndogs or chicken sliders with veggies, fruits and milk.

FCA Main will meet today, May 17th, after 5th period in Carlyle 103. There are only two more meetings before summer! Bring a friend and come hear Bree Self share God’s Word! You may even learn something new! See you then!

CHS— it’s time to turn in your library books.  Check your school email account for a list of books you have checked out.  Please turn them in to a book drop in Newton, Carlyle or Holmes.  SENIORS, get your books in as soon as possible, so your records can be clear to pick up your cap and gown.  Sophomores and juniors, you need to have a clear record for next fall.  Thank you for turning your books in!

Students, if you know you will need to attend summer school to recover credits you may pick up a registration form in the counseling center or from most teachers who teach a core subject.  Registration will take place on Tuesday, June 1st from 1:00-4:00 pm in Tucker Hall, on Main Campus the two-story building that faces Loop 306.  There will be two summer school sessions, Session 1 is Credit Recovery and EOC Prep from June 7-24 and Session 2 is Credit Recovery only from July 12-29, Monday -Thursdays 8:00 and until noon.  EOC/STAAR testing is June 21-24. All Summer school sessions will be in Tucker Hall on Main Campus.

Attention ALL CHS students! The Fellowship of Christian Athletes still has leadership positions open for the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking for three leadership teammates as well as a Social Media team lead and Publicity team lead. Leaders can be from both campuses but team leads must be on Main. Stop by Coach Lara’s or Mrs. Barton’s room at Oakes or Ms. Kagle’s or Mrs. Willis’ room at Main to apply today! This is a great opportunity to spread joy for Jesus on campus… as well as pad your resume!

Want to be a Lifeguard: The Lifeguard class will begin tomorrow- May 18, at the Central HS pool.  The Class is limited to the first 20 students to sign up.  You can pick up a handout at the Student Service Reception Desk or come by the Central High pool and see Coach McLaughlin.

Any boy or girl who is interested in running cross country next season listen up:

There will be a mandatory meeting cross country meeting is today. The meeting will be held in the McCutchen room at the San Angelo Stadium at 4:45.

We will discuss summer workouts and several other important topics. If you are planning on running you need to be there. Parents are also welcome to attend.
