CHS girls win Cleburne meet SA Standard Times - The Central High Schoolgirls cross country team finished first, and the boys were fifth Friday at the Cleburne Invitational meet. The Central girls finished with 59 points, well ahead of second-place Fort Worth Nolan (127) and Stephenville (137). A total of 24 teams and 153 runners competed in the girls division. Alyssa Priest was the Lady Cats' top finisher. She was fifth in a time of 12 minutes, 33 seconds. Bailee Sawyer placed 11th (12:48), followed by Alyssa Clement (13th, 12:53); Shelby Schwartz (14th, 12:54); Jordan Boswell (16th, 12:59); Brianna Rodriguez (17th, 13:03); Jordan Daigle (28th, 13:32); Brittany Welchon (31st, 13:37); Bianca Rodriguez (36th, 13:54); and Kasey Arrington (52nd, 14:02). Central's Bobby Hawes won the boys' individual title in a time of 16:33. Ethan Flores was seventh (17:32), followed by Michael Brothers (42nd, 18:40); Kyler Bean (68th, 19:19); Marcelino Santillan (74th, 19:29); Michael Reyes (75th, 19:30); Raymond Lopez (90th, 19:53); and Marshall Doig (117th, 20:38).
