Boys sweep all sets;girls nab five of nine

SA Times - No. 7-ranked San Angelo Central swept all nine boys matches and won three of four split-set girls matches during a 15-4 victory against Odessa Permian in a District 3-5A team tennis dual match at the Tut Bartzen Tennis Center on Saturday.

Central's boys, considered one of the toughest lineups in the state, did not drop a set to the Panthers.

On the girls side, Central got singles victories from Kristen Hensley, Lindy Williams, Haley Hunt and Julia O'Connor as they won four of six matches.

In girls doubles, Central got a victory from Macy Barnett and Hunt. Permian The Panthers won the other two girls doubles matches.

Central will return to action Saturday when they travel
