San Angelo Swimming Invitational

The Central  Boys swim team placed 4th and the girls swim team placed 6th out of 17 teams at the 45th annual San Angelo Swimming Invitational  held at the Central High Pool. 

Matt McLaughlin placed 2nd in the 200 Free and 3rd in the 100 Butterfly. Sebastian Haynes finished 3rd in the 100 Free and 5th in the 50 Free.  Zach Daniel finished 5th in the 100 Free. Eric Faust placed 6th in the 500 Free and 9th in the 200 Free. Daniel McClellan was 6th and John Hague was 8th in the 100 Back.  Sebastian Haynes, Matt  McLaughlin, Zach Daniel,  Daniel McClellan, and  EricFaust combined to  place 2nd in both the 200 and 400 Free relays. Vic Meyer, Noah Lozada, Matt Mahler, Hunter Haby, and John Hague also combined to place on three relays in the consolation finals.  

For the Girls swim team Alex Porter placed 5th in the 200 Free and 10th in the 100 Free . Haleigh Williamson finished 11th in the 100 Backstroke. Porter, Williamson, Gabielle Haynes, Whitney Stout, and Drew Thieman combined  to place 5th in the 400 Free relay, 6th in the 200 Free relay and 10th in the 200 Medley Relay.
