Central vs. Midland Lee
The Central High School girls basketball team suffered its first district loss of the season Tuesday, falling to Midland Lee 50-41. The Lady Cats started off strong, and failed to hold the lead in the second half.
Shay Warren led the Lady Cats with 11 points. Mercedes Lopez added 10.
The Lady Cats (7-7 overall, 2-1 in District 2-5A) will be back in action Saturday when they play at Lubbock Coronado.
