Central vs. Midland High @ MHS

The Central High School girls basketball team lost to Midland High 61-25 Monday in Midland.

Chelsea Howard led the Lady Cats with eight points. Mercedes Lopez added seven.

The Lady Cats tried to stay tough with this other top team in district but couldn't manage to hang. The Dawgs have a tough defense and that's what they're known for.

The Lady Cats fell to 10-13 overall and 3-5 in District 2-5A play.

Central will be back in action Saturday when the Lady Cats host Lubbock Monterey.
