This course is a Tech Prep course in the field of 3D animation and modeling that involves a student-centered collaborative production style curriculum. The course utilizes Lightwave and various supporting programs and plugins, to develop 3D models and animations for various contests and presentations. The course utilizes professional manuals, book resources, and the internet. Students research, discover, and produce animated movie shorts for the Tech Prep, the Business Professionals of America, Texas Computer Educators Association, and SkillsUSA Contests.
