Not only is there a Latin class at Central High School, but there is also a Latin Club. To be a part of the Latin Club you must be in a Latin class, and you must pay a 6 dollar fee to cover expenses. Latin Club meets 9 times a year, and participates in one fundraiser. Latin Club isn't just your normal everyday club: it is a fun and enjoyable experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Every Latin Club meeting has its own theme, from Luckenbach, to the Toga Olympics. These events provide a chance for incoming sophomores to build and form friendships with the juniors and seniors. These events are planned and coordinated by the Latin Club Officers, with the help of Mrs. Srader and the officer's parents. The events are held at officer's houses and First United Methodist Church.
