Criminal Justice I is a pre-employment lab course that provides job specific training for entry-level employment in criminal justice or law enforcement careers. Training includes knowledge of the legal system, procedures used upon arrival at a crime scene, search and patrol procedures, communication skills, computer usage, safety, entrepreneurship, leadership, and career opportunities.

Tech Prep

Criminal Justice II is a continuation of Criminal Justice I. The first semester consists of the telecommunication operator course and the jailer license course. Either of these may provide job opportunities for the student. The second semester consists of training and information related to areas of the Police Department, the Sheriff's Department, the County Jail, and the Municipal Court. Some job shadowing opportunities will be provided.
